Union members and supporters can help us bring awareness about the extensive wait on new contracts between the City and SMEA Units A, B, & D. Now coming up on seventeen months without a contract, it is getting harder for SMEA employees to get by on salaries that are 20-25% lower than the averages of our neighboring municipalities.
